Since so many of us are cutting back where we can, items that are not truly necessary have been forgone. For many of us, that includes magazines.
That means that magazine subscriptions will be even more welcome as gifts this year. There are magazines for all ages. My kids love NGKids, the National Geographic for Kids magazine. It includes lots of interesting articles and even pages of jokes (otherwise, we get to hear lots of jokes made up by 5 year olds). There are kids magazines from Nickelodeon, Highlights, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Ranger Rick and Zoo Books, to name a few.
The selection of magazines for teens and adults is endless. Now, we even have the option of digital downloads and online magazines. Large booksellers often offer magazine subscriptions through their online stores and there are even other websites that solely sell magazine subscriptions.
Check out BlueDolphin.com, Barnes & Noble, and Borders.
Also, Books a Million, BAMM, has great deals on magazine subscriptions as well as books.
